Muskoka Retreat – Terms & Conditions
 
1. Organiser and Role of SLF
The Muskoka Retreat is organised and delivered by the Spiritualist Society of Burlington (“the Organiser”).
 
The SLF Limited acts solely as an administrative agent on behalf of the Organiser. This includes supporting bookings, coordination, and related services.
SLF does not act as principal in relation to the retreat or associated services.
 
2. Bookings & Payments
 
All bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment.
 
By completing a booking, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
 
Where payments are processed via SLF, this is done strictly in its capacity as agent for the Organiser.
 
All such payments are received on behalf of the Organiser.
 
3. Cancellations & Refunds
All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
 
In exceptional circumstances, requests for transfers or credits may be considered at the discretion of the Organiser.
 
If the retreat is cancelled by the Organiser, a full refund will be issued.
 
The Organiser is not responsible for any additional costs incurred, including travel or accommodation outside of the retreat booking.
 
4. Changes to the Event
The Organiser reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the schedule, teaching staff, or programme where necessary.
 
Any changes will be communicated as soon as possible.
 
5. Travel & Transportation
Transportation is offered as an optional service for participants.
 
Where transportation is arranged or coordinated by SLF, this is done on behalf of the Organiser in its role as agent.
 
Participants are responsible for arriving at the designated meeting point at the stated time. Missed departures cannot be accommodated.
 
6. Participant Responsibility
Participants are responsible for their own wellbeing during the retreat.
The retreat is intended as a personal and educational experience and is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or professional advice.
 
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organiser accepts no liability for any loss, injury, or damage sustained during the retreat, except where caused by negligence.
SLF, acting solely as agent, shall not be liable for the delivery of the retreat or associated services.
 
8. Force Majeure
The Organiser shall not be held liable for any failure or delay due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to weather, travel disruption, illness, or government restrictions.
 
9. Agreement
By booking and attending the retreat, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
